Rare vintage Murano Venetian Handblown Glass Purse Vase gradient aqua blue

Murano glass bag vase made in Italy. Features a gradient white to aqua blue confetti sommerso spots on its fluted body, as well as some intricated spiralling filigrana lines to make a unique motif for handles. Challenging to make, this is considered iconic of Murano artisanal excellence. Filigrana refers to the subtle filigree pattern created in glassware such as goblets and plates. it begins with a piece of molten glass that is divided into two rods, without braking or being separated. These rods are then seperated to forma a long thin string of glass, balancing in the middle, then cooled and shaped accordingly. Pieces like these usually range about $150-300 USD.
