Rare vintage Rosenthal brooch

Vintage ROSENTHAL Studio Line Johan Van Loon Gold Black Pin porcelain Brooch. Rosenthal is well-known for their fine porcelain and it even extends to their jewelry. This unique Modernist porcelain pin was designed by Johan Van Loon for Rosenthal's Studio Linie line. The matte gold porcelain pin has a glossy black shape that curves outward toward you, rising off its golden platform at the top of the pin. Pin measures 1 3/4 by 1 7/8 inches. The back is marked ROSENTHAL - STUDIO LINIE - GERMANY with the signature of designer Johan Van Loon. Pin has a secure rollover clasp. Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1980s
