The opening right now is sitting at 1.25 inches, but it can be made larger or smaller as it seems pliable with a bit of pressure. I would say this is meant for a smaller sized wrist. 2.25 inches across (longest way) and 1.75 inches the shorter way. Stamped COPPER on the inside. Good vintage/pre owned condition.
