I am updating this reposting of this coat I bought and never used. When I bought it from the seller. It did not fit and could not return. I have provided notes to the updated photos that I have attached. To give you reference of my size. I am 5’4” and busty so can’t close the coat at the front. It has cheap clasps. It would be perfect as an overcoat with a gorgeous outfit or if you are petit. Will fit perfectly. This was not made in a factory. It appears like they bought the fox fur and made from home but it is definitely fox fur.
Reposhing this item I purchased from @lilyhongottawa. Loved it, but ready to rotate for something new.

Is the skin of the coat in good condition? Are there rips or tears? Is the skin soft and supple? What I am asking is.... the fur may look great but the skin of the coat must be soft and supple when you feel it. If it feels like paper or carboard, eg hard not soft it is not a good fur.

Is the fur soft? Also do you know what kind of fur it is? And can you send a picture of the inside of jacket? (The lining)

@macquelw hi. The fur is very soft. I believe it is mink. The original seller noted it was but I can not confirm as I believe the original seller had these made privately and not through a fur company. I am away right now so if you can wait. I will post the inside lining once I am back fr my travels. After the 29th

@intriguingd sorry for the late response as I did not see your message. It is definitely very soft to the touch. Feels like a plush mink coat.

If it has a tear in the fur the skins maybe rotten. One way to see if it is any good is to take the area of the tear and see if it tears easily. If it does the skin is no good and if it does not tear at all then the skin is ok. Can you do that for me? Thanks
