leeana_12 @overacupoftea take a closer look at the photo of the clasp. Hardware has a black coating that has come off from opening/closing the clasp and a bit on the studs on either side but it’s not terribly noticeable.

leeana_12 @averysarah yes, as you can see from the pictures, the ends of the chain strap have chips so the strap is completely removable.

leeana_12 @sandikossey Yes it can be by instead of clipping strap to the bag looping it through and clipping it to the top of the strap near the leather portion of the strap. Hope that makes sense. Strap is fully removable and can be clipped in many different ways to shorten it.
