This shorebird & resale have something in common and that's why I love Poshmark! In the 1980's the Piping Plovers were endangered due to the disappearing beach habitat. By restoring their environment, these small birds are being saved. When coming to Poshmark, I saw the same connection with how resale is having a positive impact on our environment. As sellers & buyers, we are keeping more products out of landfills & actually saving water too! For example: A purchase of one gently used garment versus new, saves 67 days of drinking water! (Source: Green Story, Inc.) So, next time you sell or buy from Poshmark, think of your positive impact on the world and on those Pink-banded Plovers!
