1950’s Wedding Dress Hand Sewn Great Vintage Condition. Some stains and tears. Size Guesstimate 2-4 See measurements. Measuring is a challenge. I have heard it best to measure an item you like the fit to compare size. If you need clarification or more information, please ask. Sizing . My model is. Size 4 and 5 feet tall very short waisted. The body of the dress was too long and buckled so this dress is for a taller slim soul As it is hand sewn, there is no size, so please review the measurements to ensure fit. The dress is in great condition for vintage. If it fit, I would wear it as is. I looked it over. I found 2 spots (see pictures) The hem is dusty. The button hoops in the waist area are stressed.(Likely caused in trying on.) perhaps a gentle clean like the YouTube lady is in order😀 The dress reminds me of Grandma’s wedding dress from 1950. My friend thought it looked 1980s. As I do not know the history, I will say, look at the pictures. The base is satin, with a crinoline layer, 2 layers of net than lace. It has long sleeves, hook and eye buttons all the way up the back.
