This is a statue copying one of the statues, known as Riace Bronzes, that were discovered in 1972 Italy. It depicts a naked Greek warrior standing upright wearing a helmet liner. It is believed that the original had an actual helmet, shield and spear when it was displayed ~2400 years ago. It is on a marble base and the statue is made of a marble slurry that was covered in a bronze patina. There are a few nicks on the base and there is some discoloration on its genital area. If you are familiar with the statues this is a copy of warrior B.
The statue is 13 3/4" tall and its base is 3 3/4" wide by 3 3/4" deep.
