A metal teapot made by James Dixon and Sons in Sheffield, England, probably between 1890 and 1927. The pot is ribbed and has a flower embossed on the lid, which works well. The only noticeable ding is where the lid touches the spout when it is opened. It may be silver plated but there are no marks indicating that and there is no tarnish on the outside, which makes it unlikely. I came up with the date when I found a document that had a James Dixon piece with similar markings placed in that date range -the only difference in the markings is that the trumpet mark had an "M" over it while this has an iron cross within a circle.
The pot is 6" to the top of the lid and the body is 5" between the spout and handle.
