Rivest vintage modernist enamel bird brooch / pin

Québec was a hotbed of modernist enamel jewelry design in the 1970s. Like their contemporaries de Passillé-Sylvestre, Gaston and Maida Rivest were a husband and wife duo who created bold, colourful enamel jewelry. Sleek Rivest vintage modernist enamel bird brooch. The brooch is signed by the artists "Rivest Fait au Québec, Made in Canada" on the reverse. Very good vintage condition. The pin and its C-clasp closure work perfectly.
