Rocco P white leather hand-made unisex zip sandals, IT41, NWT

Rocco Pistonesi is an Italian shoe designer who produces highly covetable and impeccably hand-crafted shoes and boots. I haven't yet gotten my hands on a pair of his boots, but I did score these fantastic unisex sandals a couple of years ago. Too bad they're too big on me - they should fit up to a size 11 in women's sizing, size 9 in men's sizing. These sandals feature a supple, thick grainy leather upper with an open toe, low side cutouts, and a slingback strap on a chunky but lightweight white rubber lugged sole. There's a gold-tone zipper closure on the upper instead of a fussy buckle. Overall, this is a stylish and brilliant design that offers modest coverage and all-day comfort. They have a certain stylish grandpa style, if grandpa's wore white fisherman sandals & linen pants, but they will also complement any summery women's wear too. I've never worn them as they're quite loose on me, but the leather is so soft, I can't imagine there being any need for a break-in period.
