This elegant vintage silver-plated gravy boat with attached underplate is made by Rogers & Bro. and features the Primrose pattern (design number 2313). The piece measures approximately 8.75 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and 4.5 inches tall.
About the Maker:
Rogers & Bro. was founded in 1858 in Waterbury, Connecticut, by Asa Jr. and Simeon Rogers. The company became part of the International Silver Company in 1898, which continued producing silverplate under the Rogers & Bro. name for several decades. Based on its mark and style, this piece likely dates from the early 1900s to the 1950s.
Condition:
The gravy boat is in very good vintage condition. There are a few small spots of wear to the silver plating inside the bowl and on the underplate, but the overall plating remains bright and intact. No dents, cracks are present. (please see images).
