khauri_tompkins Hi there! Can you tell whether it has been felted by previous washing/drying? I love this sweater but am worried I’d wreck it by accidentally felting it. If someone did it before me and these are the felted measurements, that’s be awesome and I’d buy this in a heartbeat.

nancyswan429 If it was felted at all it was by the maker. The label has been sewn in (see picture) and it is flat. I would think the label would be mis-shapened if it had accidentally been shrunk. I wash many wool sweaters by hand in cold water and gently wring them out. They have never shrunk. I lay them flat on a rack clothes dryer making sure there is no weight from water at ends of sleeves so they don’t stretch. It’s a tiny bit of labour but well worth the effort to ensure the integer the sweater.
