Arthur Conan Doyle did not just write Sherlock Holmes stories. As a trained doctor, he did not have a very successful practice and filled his time with writing. He wrote about his medical practice in this book: Round The Red Lamp: Being Facts and Fancies of Medical Life." First published in 1894, it is a combination of memoir/horror fiction; it contains the short story "Lot No. 249" about an Egyptian mummy.
This copy of the book was published in 1913 and is in very good condition. The cover is a lovely red and the gold and white printing is vibrant. There is some staining on page 1 (pictured); all other pages pristine.
