Royal Albert August Poppy Floral Teacup and Saucer Set

This teacup and saucer is one of the 12 belonging to the Flower of the Month Series made in England by Royal Albert. AGE: 1970’s DESCRIPTION: On the Montrose shaped cup is a bouquet of lovely Poppies. August is imprinted on the interior. The pattern is repeated on the saucer with a dainty leaf border to complete the look. CONDITION: This set is in good vintage condition with no cracks or crazing. There is a small chip on the cup rim, however the teacup still has a nice ring when tapped. There is no visible wear on the gilt trim.
