Royal Albert “The Gardenia” Teacup And Saucer CONDITION ISSUES

A rare find! This is a Hampton shaped teacup and saucer made in England by Royal Albert in "The Gardenia" pattern. AGE: The backstamp on each pieces is the 1927-1935 Royal Albert Crown China stamp. DESCRIPTION: The pieces have a matte black background with a white gardenia and green leaves. The gardenia blooms are tinged with pale yellow. The handle, base and rims are trimmed in gold gilt. CONDITION: This duo is in fair vintage condition with no chips or crazing. There is a crack near the handle in the cup bowl. Amazingly the cup still pings when tapped! The saucer has tiny scratches on the black paint. There is minimal wear on the gold gilt trim. MEASUREMENTS: Cup: Height: 2 3/4(7cm) Width: 3 1/4"(8.5cm) Saucer: 5 5/8"(14.5cm) G3
