Royal Canadian Legion Medals -Past President

This is a Royal Canadian Legion Past President medal and ribbon alongside an accompanying pin. They would have belonged to the president of a branch of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the legion (a veterans' association and, if you are Canadian, a good place to get cheap beer!), in this case one Edna Parker who was president of chapter 173 in Montreal East from 1961-1982. They both have "Memoriam Eorum Retinebimus", Latin for "They Will Remember US" on their fronts and were made by W. Scully in Montreal. The ribboned medal is 4" long by 1 3/4" while the pin is 1 1/4" by 3/4
