Royal Crown Derby Collector's Guild 1995 Exclusive Mole. Boxed with Gold Stopper

This mole was an exclusive figurine produced for the Royal Crown Derby Collector's Guild for one year in 1995. It is an adorable depiction of a garden mole poking its head up in a flower garden, hand decorated with florals and the signature blue and 22kt gold paint details. Boxed and in mint condition with a special back stamp and gold stopper. Royal Crown Derby launched its first animal paperweights in a range of five birds and a rabbit at Chatsworth House in 1981. The creatures were beautifully sculpted by Robert Jefferson of Poole pottery fame, before being hand-decorated with the firm’s signature Imari pattern and highlighted with 22 carat gold.
