Royal Crown Derby Imari 2451 Partial Teapot. Large 6 cup teapot dated 1939.

This stunning 6 cup Royal Crown Derby Imari 2451 pattern teapot is dated 1939. It is a discontinued pattern and style which takes its influence from antique Japanese Imari designs. The rich, deep, cobalt blue is delicately decorated with red ochre florals and glowing 22kt gold paint. The hand applied gold is in incredible condition for an 85yr old piece that was well used and loved by its original owner. The only flaw is a small, hairline crack in the lid (pictured) which is virtually unnoticeable. There are no other signs of damage and only minimal wear to the gold paint.
