Royal Crown Derby Imari 2451 Square Cake Plate. Vintage Imari 10.5" Square Plate

This Royal Crown Derby Imari 2451 square cake plate is dated 1939 and is in fantastic condition. The Imari 2451 pattern features deep cobalt blue panels and red ochre floral motifs all hand decorated with 22kt gold details. It is a rich and luxurious design heavily influenced by antique Japanese Imari designs. It is in wonderful condition for being at least 85yrs old with no chips, cracks, crazing or signs of repair. The 22kt gold paint is in near perfect condition and there are very minimal utensil marks on the surface. The plate is part of a larger tea service for 6 to 8 people available in my other listings.
