Royal Crown Derby Imari Badger bone china paperweight figurine. Modelled by John Ablitt, the Imari Badger was a limited release in 2011. It is had decorated in the famous Imari style with wide 22kt gold lines and swirling motifs. This is a first quality piece with the signature gold stopper and is in mint condition. Royal Crown Derby launched its first animal paperweights in a range of five birds and a rabbit at Chatsworth House in 1981. The creatures were beautifully sculpted by Robert Jefferson of Poole pottery fame, before being hand-decorated with the firm’s signature Imari pattern and highlighted with 22 carat gold.
