Approximate measurement
Cup Height 2.75 Diameter 2.75"
Saucer Diameter 5.4"
Introduced in 1887, the pattern was influenced by patterns first sourced from the port of Imari on a small Japanese Island, Kyushu. This China is synonymous with this exquisite range which features cobalt Blue, Derby Red and burnished 22 carat gold. The design was discontinued in 2014.
My brief research suggests that the factory marks date this cup and saucer prior to 1927. The saucer 1907?
England Tea Cup. A tiny delicate piece of china. Beautiful gold trim with navy and white body and burnt orange flower design. I think one of the most beautiful and luxury China pattern I have seen.
Condition
This tea cup and saucer has seen little use. I see no chips. There is some wear away of the gold trim along the saucer edge and centre gold rim where cup sits on the saucer. There is also some stain from dust I suppose on the bottom rim of cup.Tiny spots on inside of the cup and bottom of the saucer I believe from the manufacture of the china. Markings are clear. Please see pictures and ask any questions.
