The Olde Avesbury pattern comes from an original pattern book noted as 1932 and housed in the Royal Crown Derby archives. The design itself is one of the most popular and has been adapted from an embroidery pattern by painter, Albert Gregory. Olde Avesbury design is a celebration of birds and flowers, combining the natural and the exotic in one beautiful motif. These tea cup and saucer sets are the Red Aves colour way which is an orangey red with hand painted 22kt gold trim. Price is per set and there are six (6) 220ml tea cups and matching 14cm saucers and they are in fantastic vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or signs of repair. This was a well loved prized possession and was used for special occasions.
