Royal Crown Derby Seahorse bone china paperweight figurine. This piece was released in 1991 and retired in 1994. It is second quality and has a silver stopper, but I can't see any issues myself. It is a beautifully hand decorated seahorse with blue and gold striping and is in excellent condition. Royal Crown Derby launched its first animal paperweights in a range of five birds and a rabbit at Chatsworth House in 1981. The creatures were beautifully sculpted by Robert Jefferson of Poole pottery fame, before being hand-decorated with the firm’s signature Imari pattern and highlighted with 22 carat gold.
