This Royal Doulton Collie is a beauty! Vintage Antique Porcelain Collie Dog Rare HN1058 specifically identifies this particular Royal Doulton Collie figurine, which was modeled after a champion Collie named "Ashtead Applause". This figurine, designed by Frederick Daws, was issued from 1931 and retired in 1985. This striking dog figurine by Royal Doulton out of England is a fine example of a collie breed modelled after 'Ashtead Applause'. Expertly painted in a variety of dark and light browns with a white chest, shoulders and feet. Marked: see photos for marks on paws with HN1058.
