Rucoline oatmeal canvas and leather Ariel wedge sneakers, EU41, NWT

Rucoline sneakers are always impeccably detailed - even the most minimal designs display precise stitching and consistency of quality and finish throughout. My experience with this particular brand has been exceptional - I bought my ex-husband a pair (without the wedge) to wear in West Africa, and his comment after a year was that he thought they were even better than Timberlands for walking around on the unpaved, raw iron-ore streets, which have been known to eat lesser shoes in a matter of weeks. This Ariel is very similar to another pair I recently sold, only this pair has mostly canvas uppers with just the trim and detailing finished in leather. They also don't have a side zipper. This is a Wedge sneaker to wear to garden parties with linen palazzo pants, but they work equally well with jeans, cutoffs, or a casual sundress. The usual branding is very discreet with this pair - a small tag instead of a big R emblazoned on the side. This gives them a dressier feel, although they are still quite sporty. There's a 2.5" hidden wedge heel; the shoe is nicely proportioned with a mid-rise height, unlike many clunky looking wedge sneakers. Marked size EU41, they are a generous fit on my foot; these will definitely fit at least a women's size 10 or likely 10.5 (can measure footbed on request). Brand new, unworn in the box.
