Rucoline x Massaud silver leather & techno fabric sneakers, EU40, NWT

It should be fairly obvious by now that I have an ongoing love affair with Italian sneakers, and Rucoline has long been one of my favorite brands. This sleek metallic silver pair is the result of a collaboration with architect Jean-Marie Massaud on the occasion of Rucoline's 30th anniversary. This particular collaboration may be one of my favorites; I love architectural shoes, and I especially love silver shoes, so this pair rings all my bells at once. Like many previous designs, these feature a 3.5cm platform with slight wedge heels of an additional 3cm, so you get a bit of a height boost without sacrificing the comfort of these solidly constructed sneakers. The design also features an inner neoprene sock with an adjustable elastic lacing system, and a pair of very functional pull tabs at both front & back, so there's no struggle to get them on your foot. There's a slight scuff in the silver finish that may have come from the side of the box; it's barely visible unless you're up close at eye level, but I've included a closeup in the photos. Apart from that slight flaw, this pair is brand new and unworn. Marked size EU40, they fit my size 9.5 feet snugly, but as my left foot is almost a size 10, I opted for the size 41s. This pair will work for women's size 9-9.5.
