Good preowned condition, handmade trinket or soap dish featuring relief/stamp of a frog in Haida style. Made of reddish-orange clay taken from British Columbia. Made in Canada. A beautiful piece. No chips or cracks. Vintage handmade piece from the 1970s made by Ruth Meechan. Signed R over M. Meechan collaborated with another woman named Gene Barker to produce these unique clayware pieces featuring various Haida designs. This particular piece is made by Ruth. Very well made, since it has held up since the 70s.
