SET/4 DOROTHY VERNON DINNER KNIVES

We are offering together as a single lot this set of four matching vintage hollow handle dinner knives in the 'Dorothy Vernon' pattern, a product of the McGlashan Clarke Company of Niagara Falls, Ontario. The pattern was made exclusively for the T. Eaton Co., Canada's premier retailer from the late 19th to the mid 20th century and sold under Eaton's 'Haddon Plate' brand.. Each knife is 9 1/2 inches long with a silverplate handle and a stainless steel blade in the traditional French shape. All four are in excellent condition, with a full liquid shine to the silver and without any substantial evidence of use. They really don't come much nicer than this! (The dark marks in the pictures are from reflections on the silver, which is clean and brilliantly shiny.)
