SET/4 PLAIN BOOPIE WATER GLASSES

This is a lot of four water glasses in the 1950's Anchor-Hocking pattern known to collectors as 'Boopie'. The pattern features a ring of small glass balls around the foot in a design that is reminiscent of Imperial's 'Candlewick'. (Sometimes they are incorrectly offered as 'Candlewick', an error that is likely to send serious Imperial collectors into an apoplectic fit!) Boopie is sometimes found with wheel-cuttings on the bowl; these, however, are without any additional decoration. Each glass is 5 1/2 inches tall, and all are in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, wear, or other damage. Very cute – and a great buy at our price!
