SET/5 WALLACE PLACE SPOONS

We are offering together a matching set of five vintage Wallace Bros. silverplate place spoons - the larger spoons that are part of every place setting and that are often sold as oval soup spoons or dessert spoons. The pattern itself has a 1930's feel to it, with a scrolled edge and a glossy center panel. Despite our best efforts, however, we have been unable to find a name for it. Replacements, the foremost North American retailer of vintage tableware, lists the pattern as Wallace Silver WAS87, and we have decided to go with the designation, as it is hard to imagine anyone doing better at such things than Replacements! Each of the spoons is approximately 7 inches long. All are in excellent condition, free from dents, dings, pits, scratches, corrosion, wear marks, and any other damage or defect. They have a full liquid shine, clear crisp pattern detail, and little evidence of use. (Our apologies for the photography! The dark areas in the photos are reflections from the silver's shiny surface acting like a mirror. The spoons themselves are all absolutely spotless.)
