These are a set of eight silverplate 'Five-O'clock-Tea' spoons in the 'Gardenia' pattern, which International Silver introduced in 1941 under the 'Rogers and Bros.' label. The pattern has a smooth shape with a substantial floral design in the center of the handle. The size is smaller than a regular tea spoon, but larger than a coffee spoon, and was first popularized during the 1930's.
These spoons each measure approximately 5 1/2 inches long, and all are in good condition. They have a full liquid shine with no dents, dings, pits, corrosion, plate loss, or other damage or defects, and very little evidence of use.
They are perfect to fill in a heritage set - or just to add a bit of shine to a pretty tea table. And at our price they are an unbeatable deal!
