S/M| 1930s Pearly White Liquid Satin and Lace Antique Slip Dress

This 1930s liquid satin and lace slip dress is an awe-inspiring masterpiece of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Crafted from a luxurious liquid satin fabric that drapes elegantly over the body, while the bodice is adorned with intricate handmade lace that features ruched detailing on the bust, adding an extra touch of glamour and refinement. In amazing condition for its age, has two spots of yellowing on the lace, front one is shown in the picture, the other is on the back. Some faint yellowing lines exist throughout the skirt but most of them are very hard to see and can only be noticed in direct sunlight upclose. I have gently washed and soaked the dress twice, each time trying to treat the yellowing spots with a baking soda solution and gentle rubbing but they have not come out. The dress was also soaked in a gentle detergent with some borax. The spots may come out with more treatment but I don't want to risk anymore experimentation. The side closure has been replaced with more modern snaps but you can see the original hook has been kept in the dress.
