This dress is comfortable and easy to wear, and the lightweight and breathable fabric will keep you cool in the Mediterranean heat. It will look great with a pair of brown or metallic flats for a casual look; gladiator sandals for a Grecian look; or canvas wedges or metallic gladiator heels for more formal, dressy occasions. The traditional olive green colour is complemented by gold-embellished embroidery around the waist at the front and double golden meander lace straps with braided tie-up straps at the back. Made with love from Greece, using 100% cotton, Grimani has specialized in 'Greek cotton creations' for over 45 years. They're one of the biggest woven garment producers in the country and use gauze - a soft, thin, loose-woven fabric - to achieve an authentic Greek fashion range. This dress was a gift but, sadly, my rather pear-shaped physique forbids me from wearing maxi dresses. However, it will be incredibly flattering for the right body shape (e.g. hourglass, inverted triangle, curvy or long and slender). As it’s a stretchy fabric, it is considered to be 'one size' and will therefore fit most body types.
