shaubz How can that be a real appraisal? Where is the contact information for the appraiser? Has this stone been treated? Or is it naturally a fancy brown?

The appraisal is what came with the ring when my partner purchased it, can you please let me know why you think it’s not a real appraisal? I don’t know much about fine jewellery, so if you have any insight kindly please inform🙏🏾

makeibaa @shaubz He didn’t think to check my ring size or ask me what kind of style I would like before he bought it, it was definitely an impulse purchase. So I’m now trying to re-sell it to get any amount of $ back for it. I don’t know much about what makes one appraisal better than another, but YH Gem Services is located in Toronto, ON. shaubz @makeibaa without contact information or an address, there is no weight to that certificate. Because there is absolutely no way to ensure it was actually performed. No website to reference and validate that evaluation which was done. It’s just a piece of paper really.

shaubz @makeibaa That appraisal looks similar to what you see done by those private labs when they commit fraud so theirs no liability or traceability to the appraiser/business. I could make an offer, might be low, but I’ll send it out for an evaluation myself. If I get a certificate that is significantly different, I’ll most likely request a return through poshmark.
