SPENCER | Vintage 1940’s Corset Individually Designed Mint Condition Spencer Corsets were custom made! A trained fitter would come to your home and take your measurements and the corset would be designed and manufactured just for you. This one is from the 1940's. Once the lacings are adjusted to fit the wearer, they can be left in place and the garment can be taken on and off by means of the zipper. With the LONG lacing, the corset could be expanded to fit a variety of shapes and sizes.
