S/S 2005 Jean Paul Gaultier Tortoiseshell Print Macrame Fringe Gown

S/S 2005 Jean Paul Gaultier abstract tortoiseshell print gown with bright, colorful macrame fringe. Semi-sheer stretch jersey halter neck gown with tortoiseshell print upper and orange, green and yellow macrame fringe from hip to hem. Semi-open back. Straps drape across front and dip low in back, with matching tortoiseshell thin straps that hold dress in place. As seen on the runway - on supermodel Liya Kebede. In very nice preloved condition. I’ve had this dress since 2007. When I was younger, I loved it but didn’t care for the fringe, so I carefully removed it and transformed the dress into a mini. The tag has also been removed, but I originally purchased it brand new for $2,200 USD. The dress now comes without the fringe.
