See link for more information. https://www.outdoorgearlab.com/reviews/shoes-and-boots/trail-running-shoes-womens/salomon-pulsar-trail-womens These are hiking shoes/trail runners. *Extremely lightweight (only 8.5 ounces compared to typical 11oz). *Internal sockliner which makes them fitted and comfortable and prevents rocks and debris from getting in. *Salomon's quicklace feature to open and close conveniently. *Soft feel and great lugs for traction (3.5mm). *Heel stack of 32.6mm, toe stack of 26.6mm and a total drop of 6mm, leading to lots of comfort. *Fit on the big side. This is my third pair of Salomon trail shoes and I have bought a half size down each time. I usually wear a 7 and these are a 6.5 ladies and fit well. These shoes are light, comfortable, grippy and very sleek.
