c_lutley Are these men's or women's loafers? I am guessing men's and think a man's 7 is about an 8 womans. These seem to be a D, so I think they would fit my foot. I wear 8.5 women's. what do you think? Is it possible to get discounted shipping? Thank you, Christine

bcija @c_lutley hi, they are a man's 7 but they are a women's 8.5 as the conversion is usually 1.5-2 sizes up in women's from the man's size. I have added measurement photos for you. I won't be able to offer discounted shipping until tomorrow with closet clear out

c_lutley Hi, if you were to measure across the front of the foot approximately where the knot of the tassle is, how wide is the shoe? (It might be easier to measure across the bottom.) My foot is almost 3.5 inches.
