Samuel Mintz Plaid Wool Coat with Faux Fur Collar Vintage 1950s *As-Is Flaws

Vintage plaid wool coat by Canadian designer Samuel Mintz, from the 1950s. Classic plaid in beige/green/tan with faux-fur at collar and sleeve edges. Button closures, pockets at hips. Note that this coat has flaws which require some mending: hem of coat & lining has loose stitching and needs to be re-stitched, lining is pulling away from stitching at armholes (not visible when coat is worn). Wool fabric has some discoloration from age/storage. Tag doesn't note a size, fits like a women's modern size small/medium - see below for garment measurements. Measured with garment laying flat Bust: 20" across (up to 40" around) Waist: 21" across (up to 42" around) Hips: 21" across (up to 42" around) Back length measured from shoulder to hem of jacket: 34" Sleeve length measured from top of shoulder seam to sleeve hem: approx. 24"
