@annaowak888 Hi! I apologize but I am going to cancel the sale - Poshmark wanted me to approve a transfer of over $1200 from my account, and then they would “refund my account “. Sorry, but I don’t believe anyone would do that, especially since I just got scammed for similar two weeks ago I’m so sorry, sweetie. We’re fellow Canadians, if you really want it I can always sell it off the site directly to you. Sorry!

Hi! I contacted my bank and they confirmed this attempt to get all of the ,only is my checking count at the time (over $1000.00!) is absolutely FRAUD and now I have to cancel my entire account and wait for new card. CIBC is now INVESTIGATING as this was def fraud with the appropriate authority. Poshmark person tried to tell me I have to give them all this money, and they will “refund me”. This is a scam.

@cielleigh Thank you so much for confirming this was a scam account. I’ve reported it to the Canadian Anti Fraud Centre with the federal government. Hopefully, not too many Poshmark people will get scammed in the future. I’m wondering if a quarterly newsletter could be done and include information like this.
