allisonmodin Hi! So I’m looking for a goretex winter runner with trail capabilities. I’m wondering how they fit. For roads, I have Saucony Guides- they’re roomy but not excessively. For trail running, I have the Salomon Speed Cross- these fit a bit narrower. These come in GTX and I was going to buy them, but I’m curious if maybe a Saucony equivalent would work. How do they feel to you? Is there room in the box of the shoe? Or narrower? How grippy did you find the cleats in icy conditions?

lindsamo @allisonmodin hi! I’ve worn the speed cross before too, and these are definitely not as narrow. The toe box isn’t overly generous but roomier than a speed cross. I haven’t worn these in snow but the product description indicates that snow is a go. I’ve had no problems on dry and wet trails though. I’m only selling because I’m trying out some zero drop shoes, also very open to offers! ✌️
