Hey fellow Poshers… Seasons Greetings! I just wanted to bring something to your attention. I recently made a sale off here and buyer asked/suggested to use Posh shipping option. Mind you, usually I request signature at delivery when I do deals like that. Fast forward, package got delivered but buyer says she didn’t receive it. I helped her open a claim with CanadaPost (she did it 1st and asked me to call them) and everything. CanadaPost offered a $100 refund (item was about $700 but there was no extra insurance) and sent it to Poshmark (because shipping was through Posh). Client kept pressuring me asking to receive that money (money I didn’t get) and threatened to open a fraudulent sender dispute while she recently sold an item similar to the one I shipped to her. As well, note that Poshmark refunded her already the box she bought from my Posh and the shipping fees as she said she didn’t receive it. Guess the 1st red flag 🚩 was she said she’s sold FEW Rolex watches and used that shipping method 🤦🏾‍♀️. Long story short, stay safe and always ship an item with signature if transaction if off here. ❤️

awa_rosefushia @rara416 yes! That part!! I always add extra insurance coverage. For this one though, I guess buyer purposely chose this method shipping so they can try and get a refund.

parsonsgreen I dont get it? Did you sell through the platform or privately? You should be totally protected through the platform.

awa_rosefushia @parsonsgreen so buyer contacted me saying she wants to buy the item in private however she would like to use the platform shipping option. So she told me to post something for a low price so she can buy it here and use that item’s postage (paid $25 on here + shipping and $700 private) and then send everything to her using Poshmark’s shipping label.

awa_rosefushia @finderkeeperlux I surely collected my payment before shipping it. Guess she was hoping I would give her a refund. That didn’t work so she was pressuring me to get money from Poshmark and CanadaPost then send it to her.
