Scarce Antique Recipe Book for Fizzy Drinks W. J. Bush and Co. 1885 1st Edition

This is a very scarce antique book, "Recipes for the Manufacture of Aerated & Mineral Waters and Cordials" by W. J. Bush published by H. Little And Son in 1885, a first edition. It is a slim red hardcover book with gold lettering on the cover. It has 39 pages followed by several pages of advertising. The author founded the company W. J. Bush & Co., which is credited with being England's first maker of flavorings and essences. He passed away a mere 4 years after publishing this book, but his son, Baron de Bush, continued the family business and published similar books himself. It is in good well-used condition. The cover and spine have wear, discoloration and bumped corners. The pages have extensive smudges, stains, etc. but are quite readable. The binding is intact. Please see all the photos.
