Scene Stealing Vintage White Couture Pillbox Feather Hat Made in France

A truly magnificent scene stealing vintage hat that will turn heads everywhere! A rare pillbox hat by Veronique, Made in France. The feathers are solidly secured in a swirly pattern with peaky tips. They have been treated so they are stiff. The feathers could be peacock mixed in with another type. The detail in the hat suggests that it may be handmade because that is what Veronique hats were. The inside is clean but it appears that the glue used to secure the feathers may have seeped through the lining (see photo). The hat fits small. The mannequin's head is 22" in circumference. This is a very artistic one of a kind hat for a very special occasion. It has been very well taken care of. Except for the stains inside the hat, the exterior is in very good condition and will definitely make a statement whereever you wear it.
