100% wool These Barnton Flat Caps are made from lightweight (Reiver 10 oz.) tartan fabric. It is a great addition to any wardrobe to inject a little bit of tartan into your look. It features a flexible rounded brim with a synthetic satin padded lining for comfort and warmth. An ideal accessory for those cooler days or up on the golf course. Lindsay Modern is a maroon-based tartan with shades of green and blue. This family is of Norman descent and was found in the Border counties in the 12th century. The Lindsays were known as “The Lightsome Lindsays”. The seat of The Earl Crawford and Balcarres is at Balcarres in Fife. This cap is in excellent condition. It looks close to new. It looks like there is some thinning to the decoration on the side which is barely noticeable. See pictures.
