Semi Precious Gem Stones Unmounted - Amethyst, Fire Opal and Yellow Topaz

Nine unmounted semi precious gem stones in a velvet lined heart-shaped metal box. Included are three marquise shaped amethyst, two amethyst cabochons, one oval yellow topaz, two tear-drop shaped yellow topaz, and one green fire opal cabochon. See photos of the stones on the ruler to get an idea of the size of each. Of the three marquise shaped amethyst, one is larger and the two smaller are the same size. The two amethyst cabochons are also the same size. The two tear-drop shaped yellow topaz are the same size. There is no mark on the heart-shaped metal box to indicate what kind of metal it is made of. I've been told it is not silver. Half of the box is lined with a red velvet-type fabric. The fire opal shows beautiful shades of emerald green, deep blue, fiery orange and red, depending on how the light hits it. I've tried to show different angles of it in the photos, but no picture seems to do it justice.
