babyb69 I love these! when you say too big, do they fit larger than a standard size 9? also, how are they around the calf? I've got terribly skinny legs, so tall boots are tricky.

patters8 They're too big for me! I typically wear a 39/8.5. I thought with thick socks I would make it work. They're about 16" around the calf and the buckles on the side are adjustable so can make larger/smaller if needed

kimberley_yates Can you describe the insole? Thick/thin? Padded? Removable? Arch support? Ideally I’d like to add my own insole and I’m trying to get a sense for whether it might fit in there.

patters8 The insole is thin, not removable with a bit of arch support (i.e. not flat). I'd think you would be able to add your own insole

mari_silver @patters8 hey there ☺️ just wondering, even with the thick socks were they loose on the foot or calf? I'm the same size as you so I wanted to check about your experience trying this (I do it all the time too with larger boots).

patters8 @mari_silver sorry just seeing this. With think socks they were still to big for me in the foot area. The calf was fine as you can adjust with the laces

mari_silver @patters8 thanks! I'm really interested, do you think you could take a picture of the inner sole with a measuring tape next to or on top of it so I can confirm if thick socks would do the trick for me? thank you again! ☺️
