Sentimental and delicate vintage 1900s Baby Ring Hallmarked "10K Gold Filled"

Sentimental and delicate Baby Ring Hallmarked "10K Gold Filled" and hand-engraved with initial "J" or possibly "T" in stylized gothic lettering. I estimate this sweet ring dates to approx the turn of the century. While not as evident today (baby choking hazard alert!!), Baby Rings were most popular during Victorian times (late 19th century) and into the early 1900s, when they were given as gifts for newborns and used in photos. While no longer common, they remained a popular sentimental item, with some hospitals gifting them and many people passing them down through families. Today, this ring would be gifted as a sentimental keepsake on the birth of a newborn (and perhaps used with close supervision in new baby photoshoot :), and transformed into a charm on a necklace or bracelet as the child grows.
