Set of 12 vintage Mid Century Modern ceramic wall plates by BjØrn Wiinblad

This is a complete set of 12 round ceramic wall plates by the famous Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad. This set if from a home where the plates were used as trivets and are in remarkable condition with no chips or cracks. One plate is more grey that the others as can be seen in photos. One plate for each month of the year with red images on a cream background. They tell a charming love story in images beginning with a love affair in January and ending with a new born child in December. They are a typical Danish 1970s piece made by the manufacturer Nymølle which was owned by Wiinblad himself in this period. Each plate is marked on verso with the month and a title connected to the love story and the illustration. Feel free to request more photos.
